You’re the other angle
To this adjacency
Always side by side
You and me
My best friend
You’re like the sixty
To my thirty
Our friendship
Is just right
We’re giggling, curving
Semi-parallel lines
Obstructing laws
With our intersection
Squares are straight-faced
With jealous eyes
Experiences they’ve never shared
In front of them
But not in reach
Complements they’ll never receive
That we’ve always had
Right beside us
Which we’ve now learned
To wholly appreciate
To this adjacency
Always side by side
You and me
My best friend
You’re like the sixty
To my thirty
Our friendship
Is just right
We’re giggling, curving
Semi-parallel lines
Obstructing laws
With our intersection
Squares are straight-faced
With jealous eyes
Experiences they’ve never shared
In front of them
But not in reach
Complements they’ll never receive
That we’ve always had
Right beside us
Which we’ve now learned
To wholly appreciate

I had to write a poem for Geometry and I chose one of my best friends for inspiration. ♥
